Loop Triggered Lights that Need Changing

Post your complaints about traffic signals that are not triggered by cyclists here.  Only the ones that are triggered by the metal loops in the ground, not the cameras, can be adjusted.  Some already on the list to be changed include:

  • Holmes and Jordan
  • Governors and Parkway
  • Technology at Sparkman
  • Pratt and Meridian (note the crosswalk button is convenient if you’re coming off the greenway)
  • Franklin and Governors

Chateau and Airport should already be changed

but I don’t think Queensbury/Airport is entirely

The city has a draft of a bicycle parking ordinance. This ordinance will require new businesses and businesses that expand parking lots to include bicycle parking. Click to review it and the BASC meeting on it and leave any comments or suggestions.  Suggestions for city locations to receive bicycle racks can also be written here.
